Rosies and Sunshines [open]

[Rose]

The soft filtered lighting, the draped silks removing all the hard edges of the city, sound slightly muffled and of course the beautiful, peaceful angels waiting to have their ADAM extracted - the way Rapture appears in the eyes of Rose, a little sister, and the creepy juxtaposition of the real world flicking in every now and then just to keep her out of danger. Life was but a dream land to Rose, and her child like innocence remained preserved, untouched by the horrors that were done to her and the horror of Rapture itself.

The blond little sister crawls up to the end of the hidey hole and peeks around. Then she turns and hangs down by her lower body, her toes feeling for the bottom. Rose hops on down and looks around. Her hair is long and very thick, embellished in large blue ribbons. Her bangs were cut straight and fell just over her eyes. Her dress was a bit tattered and bloody. Although Rose looked more like normal child than a little sister, her skin was still as pale as death and she still had the dark circles under her eyes. Yet her eyes were still beautiful and blue, not to mention large and brimming with the curiosity of a young child. Rose got a whiff of the air once and smiled brightly.

I smell an angel!

Rum Tum Tugger skipped down after her from the hidey hole. He was a purple tabby cat and with a very fuzzy tail. This cat was certainly strange, a he had grown accustomed to eating corpses with ADAM, and had even swallowed a sea slug whole. He had been Rose's cat before she was turned into a little sister, and followed her everywhere she went. Almost. He stretched and yawned and lithely walked next to Rose.

There were rosies and sunshines everywhere, which could only mean one thing! Rose skips down the hall, humming a lullaby until she turns the corner and sees the sleeping angel. Rose smiles and twirls around in joy.

Here's the angel! Hehe!

Rose runs towards the sleeping angel and stops right in front of it. She smiles down at the angel and shakes her head, giggling. Why is the silly angel sleeping with the lights on? Rose can't sleep with the lights on. It's not very comfortable and it would wake her up too much. But this angel seemed very sound asleep. It must like sleeping with the lights on.

"Lullaby, and goodnight, and the starsy is bright," Rose sings as she sticks the needle into the sleeping angel and gathers ADAM.

[Mr. B]

Mr.B had never been late for getting Rose from the hidey hole, but Tenanbaum had made a dramatic showing of the importance of the little one's. Which he didn't need her input to know the Little Sisters of Rapture are special, for they intrigue Mr. Bubbles the most of anything that was offered in the vast city.

He walked through Arcadia making little note of the trees and flowers that fueled Rapture with oxygen. Mr.B had not seen eye or mask of splice since his departure and hoped for the sake of his own little one, remained that way.

A few moments passed he saw their hidey hole in a short distance, so he took quicker shorter steps moving slightly faster until he reached the brass case. He took his fist and brought it down upon the cold metal, like a judges gavel 3 times. And then he waited. A minute passed and there was still no sign of her. Three minutes and he was getting worried. Even on days when he was on time, she always hopped right out of the hidey hole. Mr.B let out a loud moan that sounded something like a whale song, for if she heard it, she might come back from where ever she's hiding.

Mr.B walked around continuing this moan for he needed to find her and fast. He could not live without her, the mere though of this was making him dizzy. He gave another moan, this one louder then the previous hoping for some kind of sign....

[Rose]

Rose lifted her head up abruptly and gasped as she heard the upset cries of Mr. Bubbles not too far away. Tugger actually disappeared from sight for a moment because he was so startled by the noise, but reappeared again with his back arched looking very furious. Sometimes Tugger didn't like Mr. B at all. Rose patted Tugger on the head. Rose didn't think he would be back so soon. Or had she just lost track of time? Pulling out the needle from the sleeping angel with the pretty dress, she ran back, rounding the corner as quickly as possible and going back to where she had left her Hidey Hole. Rose smiled brightly as she saw her Knight in shining armor. Rose runs to him and hugs him tight.

"Mr. B! Mr. B! ADAM! I made it just for you, hehe!"

[Mr. B]

Mr.B suddenly felt much better knowing his Little Sister was safe with him now. She hugged him and displayed the ADAM she just gathered. He gave a slight whine of approval and patted her on her head as gently as she pet her cat. Mr.B then scanned the area for anything that might endanger his little one, she could not be harmed. Tenanbaum would have his head quicker then the fiercest Big Sister.

Mr.Bubbles continued on his observations of the surround area in Arcadia, which was easily the most beautiful part of Rapture. When nothing seemed around to endanger Rose he let his guard down only slightly to look curiously at her, wondering what they were to do next. His next noise sounded like a blue whale call, and he turned to look behind Rose for anything that might have had the nerve to sneak up on them in the darkness...

[Rose]

Rose looked up at the knight in shining armor she called Mr. Bubbles and smiled. She was happy to see him and be with him. Then she went on to swallow some of the ADAM she had collected. She drank half and gave the rest to her Big Daddy. She always shared with Mr. Bubbles. After giving it to him, she climbed up on Mr. Bubble's back until she reached the top and perched herself on top of him. She had noticed him looking around for trouble, and she giggled.

"Hehe, silly Mr. Bubbles," She said, hugging his helmet,"There's no one here but you and me, and Rum Tum Tugger! We'll always be together, won't we Mr. B?"

Mr.B gave a slight moan and lean in joy as Rose gave him ADAM and said these things, she meant everything to him and he wouldn't let anything bad ever happen to her. He started walking around Arcadia with no specific location in mind, keeping a sharp eye out for splicers, other Big Daddies or the occasional Big Sister.

They dawdled for a few minutes hopping room to room, and unconsciously looking for a supply of ADAM. Mr.B's first instinct was her protection, but in the process he must help her find the essential ADAM from the fallen "Angels" as she put them.

They turned the corner once more to find that a turret had just mowed down a splicer. It was then that Mr.B wondered what Rose saw, and how she saw all this because none of the horrible violence of Rapture seems to phase her in the slightest. He moaned very softly at Rose he was waiting on her word.
