[Sofia Lamb]

It's 1965, five years after the arrival of Jack into Rapture. Rapture is in absolute chaos as Sofia Lamb, whose ideas for human progression are a sharp contrast to the city's deceased founder, Andrew Ryan, tries to regain control. While Ryan believed in the genius of the individual, Lamb believes in collective effort and the power of the community, as well as a philosophy surrounding butterfly imagery, indicating some kind of rebirth. The cult-like religion around Sofia Lamb has only just begun with the help of ex-priest Father Wales. The Little Sisters have only just begun to mature into adolescence, creating the new powerful and aggressive Big Sisters. Big Daddies still roam Rapture, policing citizens and protecting Little Sisters. People around the world, more specifically young girls, begin to disappear as Big Sisters kidnap them and bring them to Rapture to rebuild its citizenship. The little girls are turned into Little Sisters, although some are kept as humans who have yet to be turned into Little Sisters.

Choose your path in Rapture. Will you be a hellish Splicer, feeding your endless hunger for ADAM? A Little Sister, doing the job that you were brainwashed into? A Big Daddy, who has to guard his young charge with his life or meet a sticky end? A Big Sister, charged with maintaining the ecological balance in Rapture?
