Insect Swarm manifests itself as multiple honeycomb-like pods of reddened flesh on one's hand and wrist, with half a dozen hornet-like insects crawling along them. Once released, the swarm becomes a singular entity, autonomously moving from target to target after one has been eliminated. Enemies in contact with the swarm will immediately be attacked by a number of bees, even if the main swarm has moved away from that location. The swarm travels into different rooms and up stairs, making them useful in scouting. Only a single swarm may be active at a time for about thirty seconds (three posts), and then dissipates.
Level One: Allows the user to create a swarm of bees which home in on the nearest enemy, dealing them continuous damage and distracting them.
Level Two: Swarm can target multiple enemies at a time.
Level Three: Corpses killed by this Plasmid will spawn a new swarm if an enemy passes over them.
Special Abilities:
Jacob is a big guy, and his muscles aren't just for show. He also is miracle worker when it comes to mechanics. But his most important ability is his charisma. He has a friendly smile and eyes, even with his daunting size. Making him the perfect peace keeper.
Appearance:
His eyes are black, and he keeps his hair to practically bald lengths, out of choice, not because of a receding hairline. He has a huge build, and is ripped. He's got a nice tan. He's 6'8", and roughly 250 lbs. Normally he wears an oil stained wife beater, and a pair of black work pants, with matching boots. He has a scar on his left shoulder, that looks like he got hit by a big bullet.
Personality:
Jacob hated Ryan, and any of his supporters. His hate for Ryan soon made him just begin to hate all leadership in Rapture, people were too prone to corruption. On the other side, Jacob is almost always smiling. He is very friendly, and always looking out for others. he's personally taken on the goal of trying to fix rapture. He dislikes the splicers, and will combat them when he can. Jacob tends to stay away from big daddies, because they are hard to kill, and he can't bring himself to harvest those poor little girls.
History:
Jacob grew up in Rapture with his Mother father, and brother. His brother signed up for a secret project for Ryan, and Jacob didn't see him again, for a long time. Jacob's parents died that fateful night when Rapture went to hell. Jacob since then he been trying to restore Rapture to it's former glory, while combating the current authority figure.
Jacob will lead raid parties, rescue missions, or just plain suicide runs. He started with a small band, that was fighting Ryan campaign and Fontain's, though his group was just too small. After the fall of Ryan, Jacob made a push for his group, who began to swell in numbers. His only opponent was Lamb. When Lamb finally had the numbers to take over, she decimated Jacob's band of people, scattering his whole operation. Most members fled, converted, or were killed.
Now Jacob is starting over. Still protecting, rescuing and fighting.
