Bathysphere Station This station was where people from the surface arrived from the bathysphere that is accessed only at the lighthouse and become residents of Rapture. However, when bathysphere stations were closed off to all citizens, many came down to the station and had strikes. When you arrive, you can see many of the strike boards scattered around the station. |

Kashmir Restaurant One of the restaurants that served the high class in Rapture, this was where residents were entertained with fine dining and dancing. It was also where they welcomed newcomers in the city. Brenda, who owned the place can be found with Charlie. Sub-board: Cocktail Lounge |

Footlight Theater - 1 Viewing A mini-theater owned by Steve Barker, this is where plays were carried out and entertained mostly workers from Neptune's Bounty. |

Medical Pavilion - 2 Viewing The Medical Pavilion was responsible for treating all illnesses and health-related problems. As ADAM became widely distributed among the citizens of Rapture, its self-healing abilities practically removed the need for all of the Pavilion's healing facilities. However, unforeseen physical mutations began to occur. In response, many hospital facilities quickly became replaced by cosmetic surgery facilities such as Dandy Dental and Dr. Steinman's Aesthetic Ideals. Sub-boards: Dr. Steinman's Aesthetic Ideals, Twilight Fields Funeral Homes, Eternal Flame Crematorium, Enwell Life And Health Group, Painless Dental and Chomper's Dental, Dandy Dental |

Neptune's Bounty Neptune's Bounty was the first fishery in Rapture (to date) and was used heavily by Frank Fontaine and his men to smuggle and stock equipment from the surface. As such, crates with the smuggler's icon (a black hand) still lie around. Sub-boards: Wharf, Upper Wharf, Wharfmaster's Office, Fontaine Fisheries, The Fighting McDonagh's Tavern |

Smuggler's Hideout - 1 Viewing After Frank Fontaine recruited his crew, this became the place where the smugglers went about and did their business. According to Peach Wilkins, they had to take Fontaine's mini sub (although there's only a bathysphere ready) topside twice a week, pick up some choice goods not available in a remote place like Rapture: beef, real tobacco, and some little extras (bibles, movies etc). The smugglers also stole large quantities of alcohol from the Rapture Port Authority. Sub-boards: Submarine Bay, Maintenance Tunnel, Ledge Path, Storage Cave, Control Room, Flooded Cave |

Arcadia Arcadia is the living, breathing heart of Rapture. Its lush forests and abundant plant life served to generate the life-sustaining oxygen that the city needed. It was also a tranquil haven for those seeking a respite from the daily rigors of life beneath the surface. Vacationers seeking something more relaxing than the flashing lights of Fort Frolic could find peace and serenity in the lovely Waterfall Grottos, serene Tea Garden and other havens beneath the canopy. Sub-boards: Rolling Hills and the Research Center, Arcadia Glens and the Waterfall Grotto, Tree Farm, Tea Garden |

Farmer's Market - 1 Viewing The Farmer's Market was Rapture's most lively and popular marketplace. It was the only place folks could go to obtain the freshest produce - melons, tomatoes, delicious cheese and even pumpkins could be found being hawked by the vendors of the Farmer's Market. Citizens could also enjoy the exquisite wines at Worley Winery, and honey still dripping from the combs at the Silverwing Apiary. Stated many times in the signs, the Farmer's Market was established in 1948. Sub-boards: The Main Market, Worley Winery, Silverwing Apiary |

Fort Frolic: Atrium The Hub of Fort Frolic. Still advertising the lost pleasures of Rapture, it is a hollow reminder of what it was. Lost and long forgotten memories of what the best of Rapture used to be like, linger at every turn, Cohen's Muse Box lies beneath the stairs. Many of the entrances to the rest of Fort Frolic are either closed or destroyed. It is here that you will find Cohen's distorted "masterpiece": the Quadtych. |

Fort Frolic: Lower Atrium - 2 Viewing The Lower Atrium is only a shadow of what it once was, most of it shut-off or inaccessible to Jack. However, the Lower Atrium still offers the Southern Lounge. Around the corner one may see two bathrooms, and in the men's room one can see some of Sander Cohen's "Human art". The Cocktail Lounge once served as a place where the nightclubbers of Rapture could unwind and have a drink. Nearby sat a series of opulent, high end shops: Sophia Salon High Fashion, the Gardner Delux Modern and the Le Marquis D'Epoque. Sub-boards: Sophia Salon High Fashion, Le Marquis D'Epoque |

Fort Frolic: Upper Atrium Upstairs lies the Upper Atrium. There are many places to see here: First, and most notably, of them is the Fleet Hall, where the citizens of Rapture could enjoy theatrical and musical arts. Inside it offered the citizens a chance to catch a drink of Ryan's Club Ale or a bite of a chocolate-creme cake before the show started. Since the fall, the place has been maintained in relatively good shape, but now contains plaster-covered Splicer statues frozen in silent expressions of clapping and cheering. The only other accessible place in the Upper Atrium is Cohen's Collection. Once a place where the wealthy could view and purchase Sander Cohen's art, all that remains are empty canvases and walls that have become burned to a crisp. Inside, all you will find are some safes and a plaster-covered table with a plaster Splicer family around it. |

Fort Frolic: Poseidon Plaza - 1 Viewing Poseidon Plaza is the mall part of Fort Frolic. With bars, a tobacco shop and casinos, Poseidon Plaza was truly a place for the holidays. However, since the Rapture Civil War, the only visitors left are Splicers, looking for things to loot. Sub-boards: Sir Prize, Sinclair Spirits, Robertson's Tobaccoria, Eve's Garden, Rapture Records, Pharaoh's Fortune Casino |

Ryan Amusements It is a theme park designed by Carlson Fiddle, built to teach Andrew Ryan's propaganda to the young children of Rapture. The ride and exhibits are designed to make the viewer hate and fear the surface world, featuring displays such as giant hands labeled "The Government" blocking artists from their work and pushing down brilliant scientists. Sub-boards: Journey to the Surface, El Dorado Lounge, Hall of the Future |

Pauper's Shop Pauper's Drop was originally Maintenance Junction 17, built as housing for the workers building the Atlantic Express and their families, and permanent settlement was never planned. This is Rapture's poor district. However, after the Express was finished, the workers found they could not afford to move anywhere else, and so were stuck in the ramshackle neighborhood. Siren Alley Siren Alley is Rapture's Red Light district. It was once beautiful with lodgings that demonstrated the architects' artistic styles and shopping centers that catered to the upper-class residents. In fact, Siren Alley was once considered one of the ritziest places in Rapture. After the economic collapse in Rapture, the residents of this section fell on hard times, and many had to resort to selling themselves to get by. Many buildings that housed the construction workers, the shopping centers, and lodges and respected places were made into bars, casinos, and cat-houses. Dionysus Park - 2 Viewing Dionysus Park was to be Sofia Lamb's private retreat, hosting art and culture. It was a safe haven for all artists to speak out. The Park was open to the public free of charge to spread Lamb's philosophy and to subtly slander Ryan in front of all visitors. Sub-boards: Lamb's Garden, The Carousel, The Promenade, Atrium, Triton Cinema, Imago Fine Arts |

Fontaine's Futuristics It is the corporate headquarters and research labs that produced Plasmids, Big Daddies, and other technology for Rapture. A grand atrium anchors the corporate offices and Plasmid demonstration halls. An adjacent site contains the hidden labs where many of Rapture's advances in genetic and robotic technology were discovered. Sub-boards: Train Station Lobby, Fontaine Building, ADAM Laboratories |

PERSEPHONE - 1 Viewing It is the gulag of Rapture, a prison constructed by Augustus Sinclair as a favor to Andrew Ryan. It spans over two levels, Outer Persephone and Inner Persephone. The prison is suspended over a deep trench on the outskirts of the city, built in a cavernous area under Fontaine Futuristics. Sub-boards: Inner Persephone, Outer Persephone |
